Construction Method of Glass Fiber Geogrid Asphalt Pavement Layer

1. Anchoring method
The glass fiber geogrid without self-adhesive reinforces the asphalt concrete pavement and prevents reflection cracks on the pavement and the pavement. Anchorage can be used for construction. b. When laying the fiberglass geogrid, the laying should be smooth and tight. The transverse overlap length should be 50-100mm, and the longitudinal overlap length should be 150-200mm. According to the paving direction, the rear end should be pressed forward. Under one end.
c. Rolling with a rubber roller.
d. 50 × 50 × 0.3mm fixed iron sheet, it is required to be level and not warped, and the periphery should be chamfered. 2 inch steel nails (high quality cement nails)
e When laying the high quality uniaxial plastic geogrid by nail fixing method, first fix one end with the fixed iron sheet and nail on the substructure that has been sprayed with adhesive layer of asphalt. The nail can be shot with a hammer or a gun. When the grid is stretched longitudinally, the glass fiber is in a straight and tension state in the transverse direction.
f. When the nails are fixed, the overlap distance of the grille is: the overlap distance of the longitudinal joint is not less than 15cm, and the horizontal overlap distance is not less than 5cm. The longitudinal overlap shall place the previous one on top of the next one according to the asphalt paving direction.
g. When fixing, do not nail the glass fiber with the nail, and do not directly hit the glass fiber with a hammer. If the nail is broken or the iron is loose after fixing, it needs to be re-fixed.
h. To prevent the tires of the construction vehicle from sticking the glass fiber grid and viscous oil. And asphalt concrete paver machine wheel slip phenomenon, the surface of the sticky oil should be sprinkled with stone chips, the amount of stone chips is 3m3 / 1000m2-5m3 / 1000m2.

2. Self-adhesive glass fiber geogrid direct laying method

d. The horizontal overlap length should be 50mm-100mm, and the vertical overlap length should be 150mm-200mm. The direction of overlap overlap is the same as that of the asphalt concrete paver.
